THE POWER OF LOVE
John 3:16 is the definitive statement of our faith and the ultimate truth of God's intention for humanity.
After the fall of mankind through Adam and Eve, God had every right to eliminate the world and begin anew. Instead, in a remarkable act of love, He chose to redeem us:
“For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave His [one and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God designed us for an unbreakable relationship with Him. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to rescue us and restore our fellowship with Him. There is no love that even comes close to the love God has for His creation. Love descended to set us free and to save us from the grip of sin, empowering us to live the abundant life He intended for us—forever in His presence.
